Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US stocks moved mostly higher during trading on Friday extending the upward
trend seen over the past several sessions. With the continued advance the Nasdaq
and the SP 500 once again reached new record closing highs. The Dow rose 0.3
percent to 31148 and the Nasdaq advanced 0.6 percent to 13856.

U.K stocks were little changed on Friday as investors fretted
over coronavirus lockdowns and rising bond yields. Signs of a slowing housing
market also weighed on markets. U.K. house prices fell 0.3 percent in January from
a month earlier as the market appeared to lose momentum following a stimulus fueled
surge last year. The benchmark FTSE 100 inched up by 0.1 percent to 6509.
