Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US stocks turned in another relatively lackluster performance during trading on Thursday. Despite the choppy trading the Nasdaq and the SP 500 reached new record closing highs. The Dow edged down less than a tenth of a percent to 31430 while the Nasdaq climbed 0.4 percent to 14026.
U.K stocks were slightly higher on Thursday as investors reacted to upbeat earnings results and clung to hopes of a stimulusbacked economic rebound. The benchmark FTSE 100 edged up 0.1 percent to 6533 after closing 0.1 percent lower the previous day
Indian shares ended notably higher on Thursday amid positive global cues after ending on a flat note for two consecutive days. The benchmark BSE Sensex was almost flat at 51532.
