Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US stocks The Dow moved sharply higher during trading on Wednesday and ended the session at a new record closing high while the techheavy Nasdaq saw considerable volatility over the course of the trading day before closing firmly in the red. The Dow was up by by 1.4 percent to 30829 and the Nasdaq was down by 0.6 percent to 12740.
