Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
After showing a substantial move to the downside last week stocks showed a significant rebound during trading on Monday. The major averages all climbed firmly into positive territory with the techheavy Nasdaq showing a particularly strong advance. The Dow closed up by 0.7 percent to 30211 and the Nasdaq closed up by 2.5 percent to 13403.
U.K. stocks advanced on Monday with miners rallying after silver prices surged to a fivemonth high in a Redditfueled frenzy. The benchmark FTSE 100 up by 0.9 percent to 6466.
Indian shares soared on Monday as investors reacted positively to the announcements by Finance Minister Nirmala Sithraman in Union Budget 2021. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced various schemes across the healthcare auto and infrastructure and agriculture sectors in her speech. The benchmark BSE Sensex closed up by 5.0 percent to 48600.
