Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

The US stocks remain mostly positive in midday trading on Thursday. The Nasdaq and the SP 500 have reached new record intraday highs although trading activity has remained subdued following the holiday on Wednesday. The Dow is up 0.2 percent at 28576 and the Nasdaq is up by 0.5 percent at 9000.

UK stocks were moving lower on Monday and the pound treaded cautiously after Prime Minister Boris Johnson won approval for his Brexit deal in parliament on Friday. The FTSE 100 increased by 0.1 per cent to 7575.

On domestic front Indian market are moving in a very narrow range around the unchanged line Thursday morning with investors largely refraining from making significant moves due to a lack of cues. The benchmark BSE Sensex was down by 0.7 percent to 41163.
