Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks moved mostly lower on Friday. The Dow dropped to its lowest closing level in well over four months while the SP 500 slid to a sixmonth closing low. The Dow slumped 0.7 percent to 24285 while Nasdaq fell 0.5 percent to 6938.

U.K. shares rebounded on Friday as the pound weakened after Spain threatened to veto the Brexit withdrawal agreement if no changes are made over Gibraltar. The benchmark FTSE 100 rose by a sharp 0.3% to 6980.

On domestic front Indian market remains closed on Friday on account of Gurunanak Jayanti. During the last trading session the BSE Sensex fell by 0.6% to 34981.
