Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
The US stocks showed a lack of direction over the course of the trading session on Friday before ending the day little changed. The major averages spent much of the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line before closing mixed. The Dow edged down less than a tenth of a percent to 24465 while the Nasdaq climbed 0.4 percent to 9324.
UK stocks were moving lower on Thursday with rising U.S.China tensions and concerns about a new spike in coronavirus cases denting investor sentiment. The FTSE 100 dropped by 0.2 percent to 5988.
On domestic front Indian market remain closed today for EidulFitar. The benchmark BSE Sensex was down by 0.8 per cent to 30673.
