Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks showed a strong move to the upside during trading on Wednesday as traders reacted positively to a report about President Donald Trump securing concessions from Europe. The Dow Jones was up by 0.7% to 25414 and the Nasdaq rose by 1.2% at 7932.

U.K. retreated yesterday as investors watched for more developments on the trade front. Markets remain very anxious about the outcome of a key meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and European Commission President JeanClaude Juncker on trade later in the day. The benchmark FTSE 100 was down by 0.7% to 7658.

On domestic front Indian shares ended up with small gains on Wednesday amid mixed global cues as investors awaited the outcome of a key meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and European Commission President JeanClaude Juncker on trade. The BSE Sensex inched up by 0.1% to 36858
