Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US stocks continue to turn in a lackluster performance in midday trading on Monday. The Dow is up 0.2 percent at 26767 and the Nasdaq is up less than a tenth of a percent at 8035.
U.K. stocks were little changed in cautious trade on Monday as investors adopted a “wait and see” approach ahead of this weeks G20 meeting in Japan where Chinese President XI Jinping is expected to meet U.S. President Donald Trump. The FTSE 100 moved up by 0.2 percent to 7410.
On domestic front Indian shares fell slightly on Monday to extend losses for the second day running as mixed global cues and rising oil prices on heightened U.S. Iran tensions dented sentiment. The benchmark BSE Sensex was down by 0.2 percent to 39122.
