Indian markets are likely to open Negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US Stocks showed a notable move to the downside at the start of trading on Friday but
managed to regain ground over the course of the session. The major averages
climbed well off their lows although only the techheavy Nasdaq managed to reach
positive territory. The Dow fell by 0.6 percent to 31176 while the Nasdaq inched up
by 0.1 percent to 13543.

U.K. stocks were moving lower on Friday as investors reacted to weak economic
data and news of tighter lockdown restrictions in Europe and parts of Asia. The
benchmark FTSE 100 fell by 0.5 percentage to 6681.

Indian shares fell for a second straight session on Friday as concerns about
the markets becoming overbought triggered profit taking at higher levels. The
benchmark BSE Sensex plunged by 1.5 percent to 48879.
