Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
The US stocks after moving to the downside early in the session stocks showed a notable rebound over the course of the trading day on Thursday. The major averages climbed well off their lows of the session reaching positive territory. The Dow edged down 0.1 percent to 29160 while the Nasdaq remained rose up by 0.2 percent at 9402.
UK stocks ended lower on Thursday weighed down by concerns about the impact of the coronavirus outbreak and remarks by the European Central Bank President that risks surrounding the euro area growth outlook remain tilted to the downside. The benchmark FTSE 100 was down by 0.9 percent to 7507.
On domestic front Indian markets rebounded on Thursday as oil prices tumbled and investors cheered positive earnings updates from the likes of Larsen Toubro and Axis Bank. The benchmark BSE Sensex was up by 0.7 percent to 41386.
