Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US Stocks fluctuated over the course of the trading session on Wednesday after failing to sustain an early move to the upside. The major averages showed wild swings as the day progressed before ending the session in positive territory. The Dow gained 171 points or 0.7 percent to 24576 and the Nasdaq gained 5 points or 0.1 percent to 7026.

U.K. stocks swung between gains and losses for much of the trading session on Wednesday with investors largely making cautious moves amid concerns about global growth and uncertainty over Brexit and U.S.China trade talks. The FTSE 100 fell by 0.8% to 6843.
