Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US Stocks recovered from an initial move to the downside but showed a lack of direction over the remainder of the trading session on Monday. The major averages spent most of the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line. The Dow dipped 48.49 points or 0.2 percent to 26511 while the Nasdaq rose 17.21 points or 0.2 percent to 8015.

U.K. markets fell on Thursday as investors adopted a cautious stance before the Easter weekend. FTSE 100 was down by 0.31 percent at 7448

On domestic front Indian shares market suffered a severe setback on Monday as a sharp jump in crude oil prices and a weakening rupee triggered heavy selling across the board. The benchmark BSE Sensex ended the session down by 1.3 percent at 38645.
