Indian markets are likely to open negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
The US stocks moved to the upside going into the close ending the day moderately higher. With the continued upward move the major averages one again climbed to new record closing highs. The Dow jumped 0.2 percent to 29348 and the Nasdaq spiked 0.3 percent to 9389.
UK stocks drifted lower on Monday as investors exercised caution ahead of more U.S. earnings and key central bank meetings due this week in Europe Canada and Japan.The benchmark FTSE 100 was down by 0.2 percent to 7658.
On domestic front Indian markets scaled record highs during the early morning deals on Monday before reversing course to end the session deep in the red amid acrosstheboard selling. The benchmark BSE Sensex was down by 1 percent to 41528.
