Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. Stocks showed a lack of direction over the course of the trading day on Friday extending the lackluster performance seen in the previous session. The major averages eventually ended the session mixed with the Nasdaq remaining confined to negative territory while the Dow spent the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line. The Dow Jones was flat at 0.0% to 24715 and the Nasdaq ended was closed down by 0.4% to 7354.

U.K. stocks ended Friday session in the red. The markets were stuck in a sideways pattern throughout the day as investors exercised caution ahead of the weekend. The benchmark FTSE 100 was marginally lower by 0.1% at 7779.
