Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US Stocks fluctuated over the course of the trading session on Tuesday as traders returned to their desks following the long holiday weekend. After spending the morning bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line the major averages climbed more firmly into positive territory in the afternoon. The Dow ended flat at 25891 whereas the Nasdaq was up 0.2% to 7487.

U.K. markets ended mostly lower on Tuesday after China accused the United States of fueling cybersecurity fears thus risking exacerbating tensions between the two countries. The FTSE 100 was down by 0.6% to 7179.

On domestic front Indian shares gave up early gains to end lower on Tuesday with the 30share BSE Sensex falling for a ninth straight session dragged down by IT stocks. During the trading session the BSE Sensex fell by 0.4% to 35353.
