Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US Stocks moved mostly higher over the course of the trading day on Friday adding to the gains posted in the previous session. The major averages moved higher at start of trading and saw further upside as the day progressed. The Dow climbed 0.8 percent to 25929 and the Nasdaq rose 0.8 percent to 7729.

U.K. Market closed higher on Friday with investors reacting to a slew of economic data from the region and news about the defeat of British Primer Minister Theresa Mays Brexit deal and focusing on U.S.China trade talks. The FTSE 100 was up by 0.6% to 7279.

On domestic front Indian shares ended with modest gains on Friday amid heavy buying in auto and metal stocks powered by strong foreign fund flows on expectations that the NDA would return to power in the upcoming election. The benchmark BSE Sensex was ended up by 0.3% to 38672 at the end of trading session
