Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US Stocks moved mostly higher over the course of the trading day on Monday following the mixed performance seen last week. With the upward move on the day the Dow ended the session at new record closing highs. The Dow surged by 1.6 percent to 29950 and the Nasdaq climbed by 0.8 percent to 11924.

U.K. stocks rose on Monday as signs of economic recovery in China and Japan coupled with hopes of a Covid19 vaccine helped investors shrug off worries about rising coronavirus cases and new lockdowns. The benchmark FTSE 100rose by 0.7 per cent to 6363.

Indian shares ended Fridays session modestly higher despite mixed global cues and worrying inflation data for October. Global cues were tepid as investors remained concerned over climbing Covid19 cases in the U.S. Europe and Asia as well as a lack of progress toward a U.S. stimulus package..
