Indian markets are likely to open negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
U.S. stocks fluctuated over the course of the trading session on Friday before ending the day little changed. The major averages finished the session on opposite sides of the unchanged line following the gains posted on Thursday. The Dow Jones and Nasdaq ended flat to 26155 and 8010 respectively.
UK stocks held steady on Friday with a firmer pound limiting the potential upside. The FTSE 100 was up by 0.3% at 7304.
On domestic front Indian stocks posted strong gains for the second day running on Friday as a sharp fall in oil prices overnight as well tepid readings on consumer inflation and wholesale inflation eased investor concerns surrounding the twin deficits. The BSE Sensex moved upwards by 1.0% to 38091.
