U.S. stocks turned in a lackluster performance during trading on Monday. The major averages showed a lack of direction spending the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line. The Dow Jones inched up by 0.2% to 25064 and the Nasdaq was dropped down by 0.3% to 7805.

The BSE Sensex was dropped down by 0.6% to 36324.
