Indian markets are likely to open negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US stocks showed a lack of direction throughout the trading day on Friday. The major averages spent the session bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line before closing mixed. The Dow edged up 0.1 percent to 37.07 points and the Nasdaq dipped by 0.2 percent to 17.75.
The UK stocks ended higher on Friday as the undertone remained upbeat for a second successive session following the European Central Bank highly dovish policy statement on Thursday. The FTSE 100 was up by 0.3 percent to 7367.
On domestic front Indian market finish on a strong note on Friday. Falling oil prices positive U.S. China trade developments aggressive stimulus from the European Central Bank and encouraging macro data helped underpin investor sentiment. The benchmark BSE Sensex was ended up by 0.8 percent to 37384.
