Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks turned in a relatively lackluster performance during trading on Tuesday. The major averages spent the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line. The Dow fell 0.4 percent to 25286 while the Nasdaq ended on a flat note at 7200.

U.K. shares bounced back on Tuesday as trade tensions eased and Vodafone Group pledged to keep its fullyear dividend. The benchmark FTSE 100 moved up by 0.4% to close at 7086.

On domestic front Indian shares rallied on Tuesday as tumbling oil prices as well as upbeat industrial output and retail inflation data helped bolster investor optimism in the domestic economy. The BSE Sensex was up by 0.9% to 35144.
