Indian markets are likely to negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US Stocks following the mixed performance seen in the previous session stocks moved mostly higher during trading on Wednesday. The tech heavy Nasdaq showed a particularly strong move to the upside although the Dow closed slightly lower. The Dow edged down 0.5 percent to 29315 and the Nasdaq surged up by 2.0 percent to 11786.
U.K. stocks ended higher on Wednesday extending recent gains as continued optimism about a coronavirus vaccine resulted in brisk buying at several counters. The benchmark FTSE 100 rose by 1.8 per cent to 6296.
