US Stocks after recovering from an early move to the downside moved mostly higher over the course of the trading day on Thursday. The initial weakness on Wall Street came as traders cashed in on recent strength on Wall Street as assessments of trade talks between the U.S. and China showed no significant breakthroughs. The Dow gained by 0.5 percent to 24002 and Nasdaq went up by 0.4 percent to 6986.

U.K. stocks after coming under pressure early in the session turned cautiously positive over the course of the trading day on Thursday. Investors also pondered Brexit risks and the Feds future path of interest rate increases. The FTSE 100 rose by 0.5% to 6943.

On domestic front Indian shares fell on Thursday to snap a foursession winning streak as oil prices jumped and three days of trade negotiations between midlevel American and Chinese officials ended in Beijing without significant breakthr
