Step 1:

Use the UIDAI website or the mAadhaar mobile App to locate the nearest Aadhaar Seba Kendra or Aadhaar Enrollment Centre. 

Step 2:

Visit the centre and ask for the Aadhaar correction form. You will need to update your current phone number in it.   

Step 3:

Submit the complete form to the Aadhaar centre official. The Aadhar centre official will confirm your biometrics to update the phone number. 

Step 4:

You will receive an acknowledgement slip after successful authentication of your biometrics. 

Step 5:

The slip will have an Updated Request Number (URN), which you can use to check your request status on the UIDAI website. You can also dial 1947 – a toll-free number, to check the Aadhaar update status.

Step 1:

Visit the official website of Aadhaar following https://uidai.gov.in/.

captcha code shown on the screen below.

Step 3:

You must enter the OTP sent to your mobile number before proceeding.

Select the suitable option from the ‘Online Aadhaar Services’ dropdown menu, as shown in the image below.

Enter the correct phone number and the Captcha. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Click on Save and Proceed to validate your request.

Step 7:

Give your application a final check before clicking on Submit.

In the next step, you will see a success screen. Click the Book Appointment button to select an appointment slot in the nearest Aadhaar centre.   

Step 9:

In the next step, you will need to visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. You will have to pay a fee of Rs 25 and provide additional details to complete the process.
