NMDC Ltd. (NMDC) Corporate Action

As per NSE’s circular, NMDC Ltd has announced the allotment of 1 equity share of NMDC Steel Ltd. for every 1 equity share of NMDC Ltd.

All existing contracts in the underlying NMDC, expiring on or after October 25, 2022, i.e. contracts expiring in the month of October-2022, November-2022 and December-2022, shall expire on October 25, 2022.

All existing contracts with expiry dates October 27, 2022, November 24, 2022 and December 29, 2022, will expire on October 25, 2022.

If you have any existing open positions in these contracts, kindly take the below steps:

  • Maintain 50% of the contract value on or before 25-Oct-22 to avoid RMS square-off and/or margin shortfall penalty.
  • Square-off any existing open positions by 25-Oct-22 to avoid physical settlement and/or margin shortfall penalty.

    • The NMDC F&O Contracts for the above expiry dates will be re-introduced for trading on 27-Oct-22.

    The list of option strikes from which specific strike prices would be made available for these contracts will be communicated via a separate circular to be issued on 25-Oct-22 post market hours.
