Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette Automotive has announced a strategic partnership with Elektrorider to expand its presence in Europe. The company has appointed Elektrorider as its official importer and distributor across 6 additional countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
This development increases Ultraviolette’s footprint in Europe from 12 to 19 countries. The move aligns with the company’s broader strategy to scale its international operations in the electric mobility segment.
Under the agreement, Ultraviolette will expand into Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic. These markets represent a growing demand base for electric mobility solutions in Europe.
The expansion marks Ultraviolette’s entry into Central and Eastern Europe after establishing a presence in Western Europe. This geographic diversification is expected to strengthen the company’s regional distribution network and market coverage.
Ultraviolette will introduce its electric motorcycle models, the F77 MACH 2 and F77 SuperStreet, across these 6 countries. Both models are positioned in the premium performance electric motorcycle segment.
The rollout will be supported by Elektrorider’s existing dealership and retail infrastructure. This approach is expected to facilitate faster market penetration and improve customer accessibility in these regions.
Before this expansion, Ultraviolette was already operational in 12 European countries. These include Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Scotland.
The addition of 6 new countries expands its presence to 19 markets across the continent. This reflects the company’s steady progress in establishing a pan-European footprint.
Founded in 2016, Ultraviolette Automotive is backed by a mix of global and domestic investors. Key investors include Lingotto, TDK Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Zoho Corporation, TVS Motor, and Speciale Invest.
The company has also achieved a milestone by becoming the first Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer to secure European certification. Elektrorider, founded in 2019 under Tiszta Energiák Ltd., operates an established distribution network and became a certified motorcycle training centre in 2025, strengthening its regional capabilities.
