In the previous trading session, Indian equity benchmarks traded cautiously as investors tracked quarterly earnings, corporate developments and global market cues. 

Market participants are expected to closely monitor company-specific updates, including earnings growth, fundraising initiatives, strategic decisions and bulk deal activity, which could influence stock-specific action in today’s trade. 

Paytm 

One 97 Communications, the parent company of Paytm, is likely to remain in focus after reports suggested that SAIF Partners may sell 86 lakh shares, representing a 1.3% equity stake, through block deals. The reported floor price for the transaction has been fixed at ₹1,120.65 per share. 

FSN E-Commerce Ventures (Nykaa) 

Nykaa reported a strong quarterly performance for the fourth quarter. Consolidated profit surged 286.5% year-on-year to ₹78.4 crore compared to ₹20.3 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue also increased 28.4% to ₹2,648.2 crore from ₹2,061.8 crore. 

Honasa Consumer 

Honasa Consumer posted robust quarterly earnings, with consolidated profit rising 177% year-on-year to ₹69.2 crore against ₹25 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. Revenue grew 23.1% to ₹657 crore from ₹533.6 crore. 

Maruti Suzuki India 

Maruti Suzuki announced a price increase across its vehicle portfolio by up to ₹30,000, effective from June 2026. The company cited rising input costs and continued inflationary pressures as the primary reasons behind the price revision. 

Bikaji Foods International 

Bikaji Foods International delivered healthy quarterly numbers, with consolidated profit increasing 26.1% year-on-year to ₹56.4 crore. Revenue rose 18% to ₹720.9 crore compared to ₹611 crore in the same period last year. 

VA Tech Wabag 

VA Tech Wabag reported strong operational performance during the fourth quarter. Consolidated profit climbed 28.9% year-on-year to ₹128.3 crore, while revenue increased 22.3% to ₹1,414.4 crore from ₹1,156.2 crore. 

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers (RCF) 

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers posted significant growth in quarterly earnings. Consolidated profit surged 157.7% year-on-year to ₹186.7 crore, while revenue jumped 49.6% to ₹5,580.6 crore. 

LG Electronics India 

LG Electronics India reported mixed quarterly results. Profit declined 8.2% year-on-year to ₹692.7 crore, although revenue increased 8.1% to ₹8,053.6 crore compared to ₹7,448.4 crore in the previous year. 

Welspun Corp 

Welspun Corp reported a decline in quarterly profitability despite higher revenue growth. Consolidated profit fell 47% year-on-year to ₹370.4 crore, while revenue increased 9.9% to ₹4,312.6 crore. The previous year’s quarter included exceptional gains of ₹476.5 crore. 

GAIL (India) 

GAIL reported weak quarterly earnings performance. Standalone profit declined 38.4% year-on-year to ₹1,262.2 crore, while revenue fell 2.6% to ₹34,772.5 crore.

Aurobindo Pharma 

Aurobindo Pharma posted steady quarterly growth, with consolidated profit increasing 2% year-on-year to ₹921.3 crore. Revenue rose 5.6% to ₹8,853.3 crore. 

Indian Overseas Bank 

The board of Indian Overseas Bank approved fundraising of up to ₹5,000 crore through multiple routes, including FPO, rights issue, QIP or preferential issue. The bank also approved the issuance of Basel III-compliant Tier II bonds worth up to ₹1,000 crore. 

Fino Payments Bank 

Fino Payments Bank announced that Managing Director and CEO Rishi Gupta has opted for voluntary early retirement effective from 21 May. The board also approved the extension of Ketan Merchant’s tenure as Interim Chief Executive Officer for an additional three months, subject to regulatory approval. 

India Motor Parts & Accessories 

TSF Investments acquired an additional 2.8% stake in India Motor Parts & Accessories through a bulk deal worth ₹40.71 crore. Meanwhile, Pari Washington entities collectively sold a 2.45% stake in the company. 

Energy Infrastructure Trust 

Tara Investments 2 acquired 3.04 crore units, representing a 4.57% stake, in Energy Infrastructure Trust for ₹231.34 crore from a Brookfield subsidiary. 

Sammaan Capital 

Societe Generale purchased 68.62 lakh shares in Sammaan Capital through a bulk deal valued at ₹105.8 crore. 

Conclusion 

Quarterly earnings, fundraising announcements, strategic stake sales, management changes and price hikes are expected to drive stock-specific movements in today’s trading session.
