IDFC Bank has restructured its domestic airport lounge access program for debit cardholders, moving operations from DreamFolks Services to Elite Assist, a subsidiary of Travel Food Services Limited (TFSL). The transition took effect on 15 September 2025 and ensures that complimentary visits for customers remain unchanged.
According to the Card Insider report, debit cardholders under different IDFC categories will continue to enjoy the same number of free visits each quarter. Customers of FIRST Private receive 4 self and 4 companion visits, while FIRST Wealth holders get 3 self and 3 companion visits.
FIRST Select customers are entitled to 2 self and 2 companion visits. Other card types include Visa Signature (2 self visits), Visa Platinum (1 self visit), and Mastercard World (1 self visit). Access can be availed by swiping the IDFC debit card at partner domestic airport lounges, subject to successful authentication.
The decision comes after TFSL ended its extended partnership with DreamFolks following unsuccessful negotiations. On 29 August 2025, DreamFolks revealed that partners, including Adani Digital, Semolina Kitchens, and Encalm Hospitality, would discontinue certain services.
Shortly after, on 4 September 2025, TFSL confirmed that Elite Assist would directly manage lounge access arrangements with banks and networks. By 15 September 2025, the new program officially began, with IDFC Bank shifting its lounge benefits to Elite Assist.
DreamFolks, once the key service provider, stated that while its domestic lounge business has been discontinued, it will continue to operate its global lounge access services along with other domestic offerings.

The reshuffle of lounge partnerships ensures that IDFC Bank customers face no disruption in their complimentary airport lounge privileges, despite the exit of DreamFolks. With Elite Assist stepping in, the bank maintains its focus on offering a seamless travel experience, while TFSL’s direct role is expected to provide more stability and control in service delivery.
