AU Small Finance Bank teams up with Kiwi to launch AU KOSMO Credit Card on RuPay, offering UPI-based credit, rewards, and zero annual fees.

AU Small Finance Bank (AU SFB), in collaboration with Kiwi, has introduced the AU KOSMO Credit Card. The card is powered by the RuPay network and enables users to make credit payments directly through UPI at both online and offline merchants.

KOSMO Credit Card Target Users

The card is designed for first-time credit card users, especially young professionals and tech-savvy individuals. It supports a digital onboarding process, making it easy to apply and start using.

  • 1% fuel surcharge waiver
  • Zero annual and renewal fees

Market Context

UPI usage is growing rapidly in India, with August 2025 P2M (person-to-merchant) payments touching ₹7.2 lakh crore, a 26% rise compared to last year. RuPay’s credit card market share has also grown, now accounting for nearly 12% of the total market and 28% of all transactions.

AU SFB’s Presence

AU SFB operates across 21 states and 4 union territories with over 2,500 banking touchpoints. As of June 30, 2025, it reported deposits of ₹1.27 lakh crore and loans worth ₹1.17 lakh crore.
