Helios Mid Cap Fund Raises Holdings in Paytm, Swiggy, and Other Stocks in October

Helios Mid Cap Fund raised its holdings in Paytm, Swiggy and 39 other stocks in October while adding two new companies and exiting one.

Helios Mid Cap Fund, as of 31 October 2025, held 71 stocks, up from 70 in September, as per the reports. The fund was launched on 13 March 2025 and reported an AUM of ₹400 crore. It invests mainly in mid-cap companies and uses the NIFTY Midcap 150 TRI as its benchmark. 

Additions to Paytm and Swiggy 

The fund added 1,190 shares of Paytm (One97 Communications) in October, taking its total holding to 82,025 shares from 80,835 in September. Swiggy also saw fresh buying, with 12,210 shares added during the month. 

Major Increases Across Financials and Infrastructure 

Among the 39 other stocks where exposure increased, IDFC First Bank saw the largest addition with about 6.15 lakh shares purchased in October. GMR Airports was next with roughly 1.98 lakh shares. 4 companies saw additions of over 1 lakh shares each: Jain Resource Recycling (1.49 lakh), ITC Hotels (1.46 lakh), Lemon Tree Hotels (1.37 lakh), and NBCC (India) (1.29 lakh). 

Smaller Adjustments and One Complete Exit 

A few changes were small in size. Hitachi Energy India saw an increase of 700 shares, taking its total to 4,933 shares from 4,233 in September. The fund did not trim exposure in any stock in October. However, it exited Niva Bupa Health Insurance fully by selling 3.91 lakh shares. 

New Entries and Steady Holdings 

Two new stocks were added to the portfolio: Tips Music with 56,658 shares and LG Electronics India with 24,200 shares. Exposure remained unchanged in 29 stocks, which include LIC Housing FinanceMax Financial ServicesPatanjali FoodsManappuram FinanceSaregama IndiaRBL BankBharti HexacomSiemens IndiaUrban CompanyAther Energy, and Ola Electric Mobility. 

Top Holdings and Internal Investments 

According to the monthly portfolio report, the top holdings include Hero MotoCorpUno MindaMaricoCummins IndiaMCXPB FintechThe Phoenix Mills, ITC Hotels, Muthoot Finance, and Nippon Life India AMC. Internal investments by the AMC, its directors, trustees, employees and their families stood at ₹10.94 crore as of October.

The October data shows wider allocation across several stocks, two new additions, and one full exit, while many existing positions remained unchanged.
