
In June 2026, Quant Small Cap Fund, managed by Quant Mutual Fund, significantly restructured its portfolio. The fund exited Reliance Industries (RIL) and 8 other stocks, while increasing its holdings in Adani Enterprises, Adani Green Energy and 13 other stocks, as per The Economic Times news report.
Quant Small Cap Fund exited RIL by selling 2.01 crore shares. It also sold shares of Kaynes Technology, Balrampur Chini Mills, Exicom Tele-Systems, Exide Industries, Gland Pharma, Praj Industries, Sai Parenterals, and Suven Life Sciences. This strategic move reduced the number of stocks in the portfolio from 103 to 97.
The fund expanded its holdings by adding 10.15 lakh shares of Adani Enterprises and 3.26 lakh shares of Adani Green Energy. It also increased its stake in IRB Infrastructure Developers by 1.61 crore shares and acquired 70.80 lakh shares of RBL Bank.
New additions to the portfolio included Bharti Airtel, IDFC First Bank, and LIC Housing Finance. The fund added 1.49 crore shares of IDFC First Bank, 22.27 lakh shares of LIC Housing Finance, and 2.42 lakh shares of Bharti Airtel.

The fund made adjustments to its sectoral exposure, reducing its stake in sectors like Oil & Gas by 7.4% and Healthcare by 3.2%.
Moreover, the fund increased exposure in companies such as Aegis Logistics, Apollo Tyres, Anand Rathi Wealth, Blackbuk, Capri Global Capital, HFCL, Lloyds Metals And Energy, Manapurram Finance, Ravindra Energy, Sona BLW Precision Forgings, and Welspun Living.
The fund reduced its stake in seven major companies, liquidating a significant chunk of its holdings. National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) saw the heaviest offloading, with nearly 2.31 crore shares sold during this period. Other affected stocks include Anthem Biosciences, EID Parry (India), Man Infraconstruction, Oriental Hotels, Sula Vineyards, and Viyash Scientific.
Quant Small Cap Fund exited RIL and 8 stocks, while enhancing exposure to Adani Enterprises and Adani Green Energy. Bharti Airtel, IDFC First Bank, and LIC Housing Finance were added, and notable changes in sectoral stakes were executed.
