Zen Technologies Limited has received an order worth approximately ₹37 crore from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, for the supply of anti-drone systems with hard kill capabilities. The company confirmed the order in an exchange filing, noting that execution is scheduled within one year.
The order involves the delivery of indigenous anti-drone systems designed to detect, track, and neutralise aerial threats. Zen Technologies clarified that neither its promoters nor promoter group have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not qualify as a related party arrangement.
The Ministry of Defence order is part of the growing focus on securing airspace and addressing the evolving challenges posed by unmanned aerial vehicles in defence operations. The systems supplied under this order are expected to enhance operational readiness and support national security initiatives.
Zen Technologies designs, develops, and manufactures defence training systems, leveraging sensors and simulators technology. The company’s portfolio includes land-based military training simulators, driving simulators, live range equipment, and anti-drone systems.
Its anti-drone system, ZADS, combines drone detection, classification, and tracking using passive surveillance and camera sensors, while neutralising threats by jamming drone communication.
The company also operates a training platform in Hyderabad that integrates its complete product range, allowing for simulation-based training and operational exercises. The new Ministry of Defence order will further extend the deployment of these systems across Indian defence infrastructure.
