Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) (NSE: ADANIGREEN) announced that its step-down subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Three Limited, has successfully commissioned a 50 MW solar-wind hybrid power project at Khavda, Gujarat.
With this addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has reached 15,865.5 MW. The company has been steadily expanding its portfolio of solar, wind, and hybrid projects across India, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s largest renewable energy players.
The Khavda project aligns with AGEL’s commitment to integrating renewable sources for optimised energy output. Hybrid power projects, which combine solar and wind generation, help improve efficiency, reduce intermittency, and ensure more reliable supply to the grid.
For the quarter ending 30 June 2025, Adani Green Energy reported strong performance with energy sales surging 42% YoY to 10,479 million units, surpassing the annual sales of FY22 within the quarter itself. Revenue grew 31% YoY to ₹3,312 crore, while EBITDA rose 31% YoY to ₹3,108 crore, maintaining an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 92.8%. Cash profit also increased by 25% YoY to ₹1,744 crore.

The commissioning of the Khavda solar-wind hybrid project represents another step forward in AGEL’s renewable expansion strategy.
