About Rama Vision

Rama Vision Ltd, a JV company promoted by Satish Jain(and his Associates) in association with Hiltron (a UP Government undertaking) is into manufacture of B&W picuture tubes and monochrome computer monitors tubes. The company is also trading in Baby Care and Mother care products i.e Babby Nappies. The company plant loacated at Kichha, Uttaranchal with an installed capacity to produce 2.0 million pieces (per annum) of B & W picture tubes and monochrome computer monitor tubes. The plant which was commissioned on Feb 20, 1991 is fitted with machineries imported from Taiwan. The company apart from enjoying a good share of the domestic market also exports its products to ASEAN countries. The company has recieved/granted various certificates for quality/safety i.e safety certificates like VDE, Germany & the 'S' mark of safety from the Department of Electonics and also got manufacturer's approval under the IECQ system conforming to the requirements of ISO 9002. Company has plans to exploring possibilities of diversification to some new profitable fields. Company's exploring the new market, domestic as well as international for increasing its market share in the overall industry demand of picture tubes. The company is declared sick by BIFR on Feb 28, 2001 through its order and appointed IFCI as the operating agency to examine the viability and to formulate suitable rehabilation scheme. The rehabilitation package for the company is pending finalisation and approval.
