Founded on September 28, 1984, under the name Aarti Organics Private Limited, visionaries Chandrakant V. Gogri, Rajendra V. Gogri, Parimal H. Desai, and Shantilal T. Shah promoted the Aarti Group of Companies. The group initially focused on manufacturing organic and inorganic chemicals and allied products.
Aarti Group's impressive portfolio comprises over 100 products manufactured across 16 cutting-edge facilities. The group's influence extends far and wide, with a customer base exceeding 1,100, encompassing domestic and global clients. Its product range includes chemicals integral to the downstream manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, polymers, additives, surfactants, pigments, and dyes.

Chandrakant V. Gogri, founder of Aarti Group of Industries, transformed a small unit into a groundbreaking enterprise. Holding a Chemical Engineering degree from UDCT, his expertise spans projects, operations, process development, and global marketing in the Chemical Industry. Notably, he retired as Chairman in 2012, becoming Chairman Emeritus for ongoing guidance. Recognised with the "Distinguished Alumnus Award" from UDCT in 1995, Gogri's business acumen and entrepreneurial excellence are the hallmarks of his career.
- Rajendra V. Gogri, Chairman and Managing Director
Rajendra V. Gogri assumed the role of Chairman at Aarti Industries Limited in 2012, two decades after becoming Managing Director. An integral figure since the company's inception, he, alongside Chandrakant V. Gogri, has been instrumental in AIL's growth. Beyond technical expertise, he holds profound insights into the financial and commercial aspects of the chemical industry. In 2019, he earned accolades, including the 'Hurun Most Respected Entrepreneur of the Year—India award and the 'Lala Shriram National Award for chemical industry leadership from the Indian Chemical Council.
