The company was originally incorporated with the Registrar of Companies on 23rd March 1982 as ARC Modellors & Services Limited. The name was changed to ARC FINANCE LIMITED. A fresh certificate of Incorporation consequent to such change of name was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Kolkata, dated 19th day of February, 1993. The company is a NBFC registered with the RBI to carry out NBFC activities under Section 45IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 bearing Registration No. 05.01915 dated 13-04-1998. The company operates as a Non Deposit taking Non Banking Finance Company engaged primarily in the business of advancing loans and investing/trading in securities.
