In a major boost for middle-class homebuyers, the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has announced the Pune Board Housing Lottery 2025, featuring affordable 2BHK flats in prime locations such as Wakad and Hinjawadi. The scheme offers homes priced ₹60–70 lakh lower than similar apartments in the private market, providing an accessible opportunity for buyers seeking affordable housing in Pune’s IT corridor.
According to MHADA officials, the flats are available at prices ranging from ₹28.42 lakh to ₹28.74 lakh, while comparable homes in nearby private projects typically cost between ₹80–90 lakh.
The units are being developed under a private housing partnership project titled ‘Yashwin Arbo Centro’, located near Bhumkar Chowk and Indira Gandhi College. The project area is fully developed, offering easy access to the Mumbai–Bengaluru Highway, Hinjawadi IT Park, and key city amenities.
The announcement has generated strong interest among working families struggling with high real estate prices in Pune. The initiative aims to improve homeownership accessibility while helping moderate speculative pricing trends in major suburban clusters such as Wakad and Hinjawadi.
Industry observers note that MHADA’s focus on affordable, well-connected locations is likely to encourage more first-time buyers to enter the housing market. The move aligns with the state’s broader goal of expanding housing affordability under its urban development and inclusion agenda.
Applications for the MHADA Pune Board Housing Lottery 2025 can be submitted online through the authority’s official portal. Interested applicants must complete the registration and payment process before the deadline.
The last date to apply for the Pune Lottery 2025 is November 20, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
