As per Hindustan Times, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has finalised the detailed project report (DPR) for the Namo Bharat Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor.
This new 61-km high-speed link will connect Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida, with an estimated cost of ₹15,000 crore.
The Namo Bharat corridor is set to commence construction in December 2026, with an expected completion time of approximately 4.5 years. The route will feature 2 stations each in Gurugram and Faridabad, and 1 station each in Noida and Greater Noida.
The corridor will begin at the IFFCO Chowk Namo Bharat station in Gurugram, aligning with the Delhi-Bawal RRTS line. It will then proceed eastwards through Faridabad’s Bata Chowk and Noida’s Sector-142, culminating at the Surajpur Namo Bharat station in Greater Noida.
The Surajpur station will serve as an interchange for the Ghaziabad route, enhancing connectivity to the Noida International Airport (NIA) at Jewar. The train will initiate its journey from IFFCO Chowk RRTS station, passing through Millenium City Centre to Brig Osman Chowk in Gurugram.
From Brig Osman Chowk, the alignment will head east towards Gwal Pahari, traverse the Faridabad-Gurugram Road (MDR-137), and reach Hanuman Mandir/Badkhal Enclave. It will then continue on Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg to Bata Chowk, cross the BPTP bridge, and proceed to Amolik Chowk.
The route will extend to Amrita Hospital, move east along the FNG Expressway, and enter Noida near Sector 168. The train will then travel further east into Greater Noida, concluding at the Surajpur junction.
