The Bihar government has consolidated two decades of land and revenue-related rules into a structured four-volume publication.
Prepared by the Land Reforms and Revenue Department, the compilation brings together key circulars and regulatory provisions issued between 2003 and 2023.
The initiative is intended to help officials access verified and updated information through a single reference source.
The Land Reforms and Revenue Department stated that the compilation has been developed to make current and authentic regulatory information readily available to government officials.
By consolidating circulars and rules in one place, the department aims to reduce ambiguity and improve consistency in administrative processes across the state.
The four volumes were formally released by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, who oversees the Land Reforms and Revenue Department. He highlighted that bringing together regulations issued over many years is expected to support clearer interpretation of rules and assist officials in carrying out their duties more effectively.
The compilation has been divided into four sections to allow easier reference and navigation.
According to the department, the consolidated publication is expected to assist officials in working in a more organised manner. Access to updated rules in a single source may help improve administrative clarity and support timely service delivery to citizens.
