Bhayaganagar Wood Plast Ltd (BWPL) is a part of KPR group of companies comprising Bhagyanagar Pipe Industries, Balaji Amines, Flowell Pump Industries, Balaji Cement Products, and Bharathi Cement Products. Bhagyanagar Wood Plast Limited was promoted by N Kishan Reddy, A Pratap Reddy and their associates in the year 1988 for manufacture of PVC Foam Panels/Profile/pipes at Village Nadikandi Andhra Pradesh. HUDCO had originally sanctioned the term loan in the year 1991 itself. However, due to the Foreign Exchange constraints, the Foreign Currency could not be arranged. Hence there was a delay in implementation of the project. The project was originally conceived to manufacture PVC Panels and Profiles. However, the Company expressed its intention to add PVC pipes and PVC casing pipes, to the product line for which HUDCO had agreed. In 1999-2000, the software division of the company started off as planned and in the very begining of its operations it has earned a foreign exchange of US $ 20,000. It has also ventured into the internet zone by launching a portal of its own namely bhagyastock.com.
