Osiajee Housing Developers (OHDL), promoted by Jitendra K Patel, was initially incorporated under the name and style of Osiajee Housing and Finance as a public limited company on 13th Feb.'95. The company commenced its business from 15th Feb.'95. Thereafter it acquired its present name in Jan.'96. OHDL was promoted with the main object of developing properties in Gujarat on its own initiative as well as under contractual basis and to provide consulting services like architectural & engineering in the same line. The company proposes to undertake promotion and development of exclusive and unique housing schemes mainly aimed at high income individuals and NRI's. It proposes to take on contract basis the constuction of buildings. It also plans to offer miscellaneous services such as planning and designing housing/industrial complexes, overseeing of construction projects, identifying potential areas for development into residential/industrial complexes etc. To part finance the cost of this project, OHDL came out with a public issue of 36,00,000 equity shares at par aggregating Rs 3.60 crores during Aug.'96
