Endurance Technologies Limited was originally incorporated as private limited company under the name Endurance Suspension Systems (India) Pvt Ltd on 27th December 1999. Subsequently, the company was changed into a public limited company and its name was changed to Endurance Suspension Systems (India) Limited on 1st July 2000. Further, the company changed its name as Endurance Transmission Systems (India) Limited on Dec` 6th 2000, Endurance Transmission Systems (India) Private Limited on Jan` 27th 2001, Endurance Technologies Private Limited on Aug` 11th 2006, Endurance Technologies Limited on Jul` 9th 2010, Endurance Technologies Private Limited on Jan` 18th 2012 and finally changed its name as Endurance Technologies Limited on May 31st 2016. Endurance is the largest two-wheeler and three-wheeler automotive component manufacturer in India. The company also has operations in Europe with highly-automated manufacturing facilities in Italy and Germany. The company also manufactures specified components for four-wheeler passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles ("LCVs") and heavy commercial vehicles ("HCVs"). In Europe, the company predominantly cater to four-wheeler OEMs, focusing on engine and transmission components. The company has 25 plants across India, Italy and Germany. It has 18 manufacturing plants in India, all of which are strategically located in the major automotive manufacturing belts of the country, comprising eight in Aurangabad (Maharashtra), five in Pune (Maharashtra), two in Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) and one each in Manesar (Haryana), Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and Sanand (Gujarat), with two in-house tool rooms. It also has two manufacturing plants in Massenbachhausen, Germany at its subsidiary Endurance Amann GmbH ("Endurance Amann"), and five in and around Torino, Italy, at its indirect subsidiaries, namely, Endurance Fondalmec SpA, ("Endurance Fondalmec"), Endurance FOA SpA ("Endurance FOA") and Endurance Engineering Srl ("Endurance Engineering").
