About Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL)

Adani Total Gas is engaged in the development of City Gas Distribution (CGD) networks to supply Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to the industrial, commercial, domestic (residential) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to the transport sector. The company was incorporated and promoted by the Adani Group in 2005. ATGL has established city gas distribution networks in Ahmedabad and Vadodara in Gujarat, Faridabad in Haryana and Khurja in Uttar Pradesh. Moreover, the development of Allahabad, Chandigarh, Ernakulam, Panipat, Daman, Dharwad, and Udhamsingh Nagar gas distribution has been given to a consortium of Adani Total Gas Ltd and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL). In 2020, Adani Gas received the Golden Peacock HR Excellence Award. ATGL received the ‘ESG Initiative of the Year award from ET Energy World Annual Gas Conclave for its Greenmosphere initiative in 2022.

Business Segment

  • Residential PNG: Residential piped gas is a developing market that consumers choose over LPG fuels because it provides more convenience, safety, and satisfaction. The company has over 7,00,000 domestic households connected to PNG.
  • Industrial PNG: The industrial PNG services users include those that run boilers, thermic fluid heaters, direct-fired dryers, textile processing, heat treatment, wire drawing, casting, and forging applications, among others. ATGL added 249 industrial consumers in FY 2023.
  • Commercial PNG: ATGL supplies PNG to commercial consumers, including hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, hospitals, educational centers, canteens, temples and crematoriums, etc. During FY 2023, it added 618 commercial connections.
  • Compressed Natural Gas (CNG): It is a preferred transportation fuel, marked by economy and savings. ATGL added 126 CNG stations in FY 2023.
The following are subsidiaries of ATGL:
  • Adani TotalEnergies Biomass Limited (ATEBL): It is a 100% owned subsidiary of ATGL, which was formed to develop the Biomass business by setting up CBG processing plants across the country based on multiple feedstocks like Agri waste as well as Municipal Solid Wastes.
  • Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEEL): The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ATGL. This will help ATGL develop a charging ecosystem to support the fast-growing EV penetration drive in the country.

Suresh P Manglani, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer Mr. Suresh P Manglani is an Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of ATGL. He has over three decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, including ~17 years of experience in British Gas and BP Plc joint ventures in India in midstream and downstream (CGD) businesses. He joined ATGL in 2018 as Chief Executive Officer.
