On July 23, 2026, InterGlobe Aviation Limited, a major player in the aviation sector, released its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.
The company reported an increase in total income, although it faced a net loss during the period.
For the quarter ending June 30, 2026, InterGlobe Aviation Limited reported a total income of ₹25,614.10 crore. This represents an 18.9% increase compared to ₹21,542.60 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
Additionally, the income rose by 7.5% from ₹23,830.70 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
Despite the rise in income, InterGlobe Aviation Limited recorded a net loss of ₹238 crore for the June 2026 quarter. This contrasts with a net profit of ₹2,176.30 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
However, it shows an improvement from the net loss of ₹2,536.90 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
For the fiscal year 2026, InterGlobe Aviation Limited's total income stood at ₹89,513.40 crore. The company, however, reported a net loss of ₹2,393.60 crore for the entire fiscal year.
The squeeze on profitability was primarily driven by a dramatic spike in aviation fuel procurement costs. Total quarterly fuel costs surged by 85.7% to reach ₹10,832.9 crore, up from ₹5,832.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2025.
Non-fuel operating costs grew at a more moderate rate of 12.1% to settle at ₹15,019.6 crore. These factors drove cumulative expenses for the three-month period to ₹25,852.5 crore, resulting in an overall profit before tax loss of ₹238.4 crore.

This fleet infrastructure allowed the airline to operate a peak of 2,298 daily flights during the quarter, connecting scheduled services directly to 97 domestic and 46 international destination networks.
The company maintained its benchmark technical performance, recording a technical dispatch reliability rate of 99.9% and an on-time performance rating of 86.9% across 10 major domestic airports.
Looking ahead, due to seasonally lower demand and active geopolitical uncertainties in West Asia, management expects second-quarter capacity to remain broadly flat relative to the prior year. However, aircraft utilization is projected to steadily ramp back up as the carrier moves past this traditionally weaker seasonal cycle.
