IndusInd Bank Share Price in Focus; Launches Dedicated Banking Vertical for GCCs

IndusInd Bank has launched a dedicated banking vertical for India’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) sector. The announcement was made on September 28, 2026, as the number of GCCs in the country continues to increase.
GCC Sector Records 32% Growth
India’s GCC ecosystem has grown 32% since FY2021 and now comprises 2,117 centres. These centres are involved in functions including technology, engineering, analytics, finance, research, and other strategic activities for global organisations.
Five Services Under One Banking Relationship
The new vertical combines five areas under a single relationship with the bank. These are digital banking, employee banking, commercial card solutions, capital account and FEMA solutions, and foreign-currency accounts through the bank’s International Banking Unit (IBU) at GIFT City.
The arrangement covers banking requirements for GCC businesses as well as their employees. It also includes services linked to cross-border transactions and foreign-currency accounts.
Three-Part Operating Structure
The GCC banking proposition is based on three principles: unified, digital-first, and responsive. The unified model covers corporate and employee banking, while the digital-first component focuses on platforms for GCCs and their employees.
The responsive model includes senior-level access and India-focused specialist advice.
Role of GIFT City Unit
IndusInd Bank’s IBU at GIFT City will provide foreign-currency account solutions as part of the offering. This forms the cross-border banking component of the GCC vertical, alongside the bank’s other services.
IndusInd Bank’s Network
As of June 30, 2026, the bank had around 42 million customers, 3,137 branches and banking outlets, and 2,853 ATMs. Its network covered 1.60 lakh villages across India.
IndusInd Bank Share Price Performance
As of September 28, 2026, 1:52 pm, IndusInd Bank share price was trading at ₹899.30, a 1.41% decrease from the previous closing price.
Conclusion
The new vertical brings corporate, employee, commercial card, FEMA, capital account, and foreign-currency services into one GCC-focused banking structure.
