Linde India Share Price in Focus; Secures Land Parcel in Sanand for Semiconductor Packaging Gas Facility

Linde India is adding another piece to its Gujarat operations with around eight acres of land secured in Sanand for a chip-packaging gas facility, as per The Economic Times report. The move comes as semiconductor manufacturing and packaging activity is taking shape across the region.
The company is also in discussions with potential semiconductor customers in Sanand for long-term gas supply arrangements. The new facility will add to Linde India's existing presence in Gujarat.
Sanand Facility to Support Chip Packaging
The planned facility will focus on supplying high-purity gases needed for chip-packaging operations. Sanand is also home to upcoming semiconductor projects linked to companies including Micron, CG Power and Kaynes Technology.
Gujarat Footprint Gets Larger
The Sanand project comes alongside Linde India's existing Dahej air separation plant and packaged gases unit in Ahmedabad. The company is also developing an air separation unit in Dholera.
The Sanand and Dholera facilities are expected, according to the source, to build a closer regional supply network for high-purity industrial gases.
Revenue Rises 21.59% In June Quarter
Linde India reported revenue of ₹694.36 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with ₹571.08 crore in the same quarter a year earlier. This represents a year-on-year increase of 21.59%.
Profit, however, moved in the opposite direction. Consolidated net profit stood at ₹104.59 crore, down 2.43% from ₹107.19 crore a year earlier, with rising operational expenses cited as the reason.
Semiconductor Business Brings Higher Spending
The company's move into the semiconductor supply chain comes with significant upfront capital spending. As per the report, the Sanand facility is part of Linde India's broader shift towards supplying India's high-tech manufacturing ecosystem alongside its established industrial and healthcare business.
