Adani Power has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the largest publicly listed company within the Adani Group, outpacing Adani Ports & SEZ 

This came as a result of substantial growth in its stock value, leading to a market cap nearing ₹4 lakh crore as of April 20, 2026. 

Adani Group's Market Hierarchy Change 

Adani Power's rise to prominence, valued at ₹3,87,237 crore, has shifted the Adani Group's traditional market hierarchy.  

Adani Ports & SEZ follows at ₹3,63,461 crore, with Adani Enterprises at ₹2,87,834 crore.  

Additional key players include Adani Green Energy at ₹1,90,183 crore and Adani Energy Solutions at ₹1,51,530 crore. 

Sector-Wise Performance in 2026 

The Adani Group displayed mixed results across sectors in 2026. Adani Power surged ahead with 38.56% growth, and Adani Energy Solutions rose 19.74%.  

Meanwhile, Adani Ports & SEZ and Adani Total Gas experienced modest rises of 7.89% and 5.43%, respectively.  

Cement and FMCG sectors faced downturns, with ACC dropping 17.34% and Ambuja Cements down 18.54%. 

Gautam Adani's Position in Wealth Rankings 

Gautam Adani has ascended to the top of Asia's wealth rankings, surpassing Mukesh Ambani with an estimated net worth of $95.3 billion.  

The performance of core Adani Group firms elevated Adani's standings, marking a notable economic shift towards the power and energy sectors within the group.
