Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 22 August, 2023

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading green with Sensex up around 59 points or 0.10% at 65,275 and the Nifty-50 up around 23 points or 0.12% at 19,420. About 2,220 shares have advanced, 1,076 declined, and 153 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were ITC Ltd, Bajaj FinServ Ltd and Bajaj Finance Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Tech Mahindra Ltd, Jio Financial Services Ltd and Titan Company Ltd.

The BSE Utilities Index was the only gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE IT Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Utilities Index soared 1.20%, led by RTN Power Ltd and Reliance Power Ltd while the BSE IT Index was down 0.25% dragged down by Tech Mahindra Ltd and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.63% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.72%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were General Insurance Corporation of India and Torrent Power Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Dredging Corporation of India Ltd and 63 Moons Technologies Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Patel Engineering Ltd, Repro India Ltd and Pakka Ltd.
