On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in green with Sensex up around 437 points or 0.70% at 64,352 and the Nifty trading up by 110 points or 0.59% at 19,801. About 2,072 shares have advanced, 1,111 declined, and 162 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Infosys Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and IndusInd Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Bharti Airtel Ltd, ITC Ltd.

The BSE Teck Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Telecommunications Ltd Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Teck Index soared 1.65%, led by Infosys Ltd and Persistent Systems Ltd while the BSE Telecommunications Index was down 0.56% dragged down by Tata Communications Ltd and Indus Tower Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.59% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.55%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Supreme Industries Ltd and Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Renaissance Global Ltd and 63 Moons Ltd.
